Karmen Jones, CNM

Karmen is a certified nurse midwife as well as an advanced practice family and women’s health nurse practitioner. She received her master’s degree at the University of California San Francisco and has been practicing midwifery for over 25 years. A lifelong learner who has a love of education, she likes to teach others in this field and has experience in teaching nursing, midwifery students, nurse practitioner students, medical students, and residents.

She grew up as an Air Force brat and has lived in many different places and spent her formative years on the island of Guam. She is a mother of a vivacious preteen daughter who keeps her on her toes. She enjoys reading, traveling, swimming, and spending time with her family and friends. She was called to be a nurse from the age of 5 years old and is known to her friends and family as “the baby catcher.” She absolutely loves the art and science of midwifery and is now taking care of women through their life span, enjoying every moment of it.
